So after two moves in one year and running Q back and forth to therapies...I finally have time to blog again!
We're out in the desert now, and in our first house and LOVIN it.
Q's doing a lot better thanks to 2years on the diet and startin ABA therapy.
Ryan's an RT (respiratory therapist) now, and working in the horsepital...
Buggalo is startin to talk more, and is Momma's shadow.
That's it for now...tired and not in the current mood to keep blabbing.
Hasta la pasta.

God Bless Texas!!
We're finally moved and settled back in God's country, Texas!! Fort Sam Houston's in San Antonio to be exact. I'm so undescribably glad to be back in this state, and in such an awesome city.
Our house here was owned by Smurfs before, it's tee-niney. Our sectional and our entertainment center just fit in the living room, it's a good thing Ryan broke our coffee table with his Astra, there's no way it would fit in here.
In other news, Bucko is back in school! Well, except for today, I had to go pick him up right after he got there because he was throwing up and "greenish", though of course he's fine now.
Lil is walking/running all over the place, and is talking :D We've been watching lots of nature shows, like Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, and talking and learning about animals, and what they say. For instance, if you ask Lil what the bear says, he goes "rawwwwwr". I'm also working on getting him to say nomnomnom for when he's hungry (I think I need lolcats anon.)
Just wanted to post a quick update since it's been a good five months since my last post. Until I manage to wrangle another couple minutes of free time...

Not Much...
I've been so ungodly busy I haven't had time to update in, oh, a while.
Bucko is now off to school! His first day was last week, and he did really well. I was so excited for him. He's in the Spec Ed class, which is good because the teacher only currently has 3 children, and at most will have 7, so he gets the one-on-one he needs. An awesome part of him being Spec Ed is he gets picked up and dropped off by the bus every day-right in front of the house! At 7.20 we're out waiting on the bus to roll up, and by 2.45ish, my Bucko is back home. I really love not having to fight the traffic at the school.
Lil is standing! We've managed to get him to stand up on his own a few times, and he can do it as long as he doesn't try to look around, or he falls flat on his butt. No walking yet, but he does travel from furniture to furniture, so he's getting a walking toy for his birthday to help out.
Speaking of birthdays, Bucko turned 4 on the 10th! I can't believe my baby is a big boy now. He had fun at his little party-we just chilled at the house and I made him a gfcf cake and icing-which actually tasted like REAL cake.
We're having a big family party on Labor Day weekend in Lake Jackson, so for anyone wanting to come, please give me a heads up.
Chelation is working, lil man has been talking! The other day sitting with Ryan he said "Hawaii, my doggie", and when we went on a walk the other night, Lil dropped his cup, and he gave it back to him and called him "puppy". He's also told me "cook, cook" when I'm in the kitchen. Takes after his Dad.
Well I just wanted to post a quick update, I gotta pick up the house and get a few things done around here. Off to June Cleavering!

Lousyana School drama
Aaaaaaand I'm back. Been a while since I've had time to sit and actually write. That and something's up with my lap top key board, it bounces around the little blinky thing where your font comes from, and I end up writing in the middle of a sentance, or it randomly highlights areas and when I hit the space bar, it deletes what I wrote O_o
Back to updating, I spend most of this morning attempting to change the date for Quincy's IEP (Individualzed Education Plan-where it has exactly what they're going to work on him with). Since he didn't go to school last year (I'll vent on that cluster pluck later), he had his IEP done at the end of August. Problem with my current date for IEP-Aug. 27-is school starts next Friday, the 14th. I NEED to have his IEP done BEFORE he starts, not two weeks into school. So this morning I played- phone ring-around-the-rosie trying to find someone who could comprehend that all I need to do is CHANGE THE DATE for his IEP meeting. Somehow I got asked "who called you about his IEP", since someone calling me apparently has something to do with changing the day O_o No one has called, I got the info BACK IN MAY, they just told me I couldn't change anything until closer to school starting.
*frustrated mumbling*
I HATE the Lousiana school system, it's a back-asswads NIGHTMARE. I have 3 more months in this Hell Hole, and back to Texas where I can deal with a school system that's NOT number 47 in the nation, 3rd from the bottom! And not to mention the problems I've been having trying to find Quincy an ABA therapist. The only ones are out in Lake Charles, an hour and a half from here, and he's going to have to go every day. No OT in the area, either. Yay for Lousyana!
Now for some news on the boys.
Quincy is doing really well, the chelation looks to be working, he's stimming a lot less, and is trying to vocalize more. It's mostly "Quincy-ese", nonsense words he says to himself or when he's playing, but it's vocalizing. He's also listening and taking directions really well.
Hudson is pulling up on things and "walking"-like holding onto the couch and creeping down it. He jabber jabbers a lot, and just about everything is "cat" (his latest word). He has Momma and Dada down pat, working on "dog", and he waves bye-bye. He'll eat pretty much anything you give him, along with anything he can get his mitts on.
We're planning on going to the Ren Fest, most likely in October (and the last weekend, since that's when EVERYTHING is on sale). I'm excited, I LOVE Ren Fest, especially the excuse to dress up and put my theatre skills to work pretending to be someone else. I'm trying to figure out what to do for the boy's costumes, Ryan and I are "barbarians", mostly because there's really no where we fit in else where in the typical Ren Fest catagories.
That's about it for this ramble, I'm off to prep ribs for dinner and help Bucko pick up the lima beans he decided should "rain" in the living room.

Ears all clear
Yay, no ear infection! Doc said most likely since his sinuses are draining, it's creating pressure in his ears and that's why he's pulling/rubbing on them. Lil does have a cold, so two weeks of feelin doodie on top of teething for Momma.
I also really liked the doc, she didn't give me any flack about not having Lil vaccinated, at all, not even a side ways "one of THOSE moms" look. She has no idea how much I appreciated that, since every other visit the docs have been trying to tell me how important it is to vaccinate my child with brake fluid and aborted fetus tissue (info on what's in vaccinations HERE) If that doesn't creep you out, I'm not sure what will. I'm not keen on the idea of putting known TOXINS into my infant's body, especially when it's a swarm of 6 shots at some visits, and all that CRAP in his tiny body. Kiss my exceptionally white, day-glo neon clear ass.
Well, it's about time for bed, both the boys are KO'ed (at least for now, I have a strong feeling Lil will be up wanting snuggles in a few hours).

Firsts You'd Love to Skip
First broken bone, first trip to the ER, first cold, first ear infection, first pb and j sandwich shoved into the VCR...
And so with Lil, looks like we've reached our first summer cold and ear infection. Last night he kept waking up whining like he wasn't feeling well, and I had to sit in the rocker and cuddle him back to sleep. He keeps tugging and rubbing on his ears, so I'm suspecting an ear infection as well. Huzzah! Cranky baby and no sleep for me.
We have an appointment at the hospital at 2.30, so we'll see what's going on then. I'm honestly a little paranoid because this whole thing with Quincy started with some nasty ear infections as an infant. If we do have an ear infection, we're not doing antibiotics, I'm taking my happy hind end to the health food store for some OoO (oil of oregano), or making some oilve oil and garlic (drops for the ear), as a natural remedy since antibiotics kill off all the good bacteria and flora in your gut as well as your infection.
I'll re-post after his appt to see what the doc says.

Best $4 EVER
I'm a HORRIBLe impulse shopper, but this time, this $4 nab REALLY paid off.
Bucko is IN LOVE with these Craoyla Window Crayons.
We started with drawing his name...and that's all it took for him to go completely nuts over them and wear them down to a nub (thank God they self-sharpen by twisting back up lick lip-stitch!)
Lil even made his first doodle today with them!
On another note, we started chelation on Friday, seems to be going well.
