So next trip to Dallas to see Quincy's DAN! (Defeat Autism Now!) is coming up on Monday.
We've been going since January for bio-medical treatment (vitamins, supplements, diet change, ect.), and this go-round is for AIT (Auditory Integration Therapy), follow-up, and LDA (Low Dose Allergen) shots.
The AIT is to help with Quincy's hypersensitive hearing, as well as language with the ASD. 10 days of therapy, 30 mins each session, twice a day, 6hrs apart. So we go in eaaaarly at 8, do our session, get done at 8.30, go bum around Grapevine, and go back to finish the day. I'm tryin to get things figured out for what to do in between sessions.
On the 26th (Ryan's b-day and our 5yr anniversary) we have Q's LDA and follow-up. We should start chelation this visit also, as the doc said Q is about 6 months ahead of schedule with his healing and he hasn't seen very many patients recover this quickly (he did say Q was definitely a vaccine injury on our initial visit). So YAY!!! he's coming along execptionally well.
Lil (Hudson) is doing great, finally started belly off the floor crawling instead of low crawling (Army crawl). He is FAST, and has a talent for getting into everything (I think it runs in the family). We're currently battling a round of oral thrush with him, but have gained the aid of Gentian blue violet, which has earned him a very vibrant purple mouth, and drool.
I'm ready to get the Hell outta Dodge for almost two weeks-Sleazeville sn't exactly the most fun and exciting place to live. Not to mention Josh and Jonna have a salt water filter pool so Quincy can go swimming every day other than his 3 days of LDA-yay!
Yayyy! I am so happy Q is ahead of schedule. I am praying for him daily, and will add little H and his Thrush to my list.
